CONTEXT
In line with Group Real Estate strategy and objectives, the Head of Workplace & Facilities Europe oversees the portfolio of buildings (owned or rented) in Europe and reports to the Real Estate Director Europe. It represents more than 200 corporate sites including 18 corporate offices, 6 industrial platforms, 5 logistic sites, 18 customer service platforms and 170 boutique maintenance covering more than 150,000 sqm and supporting over 3,000 employees.
Working closely with Group Management, Functions, Regions and Maison’s, the Head of Workplace & Facilities Europe collects and anticipates future needs and liaises with the Corporate Buildings and Offices Director, regional BOS teams to propose positive solutions, rolling‑out cities master plans and other initiatives to optimize the operational real estate footprint of the Group.
In addition, the Head of Workplace & Facilities Europe co‑animates the BOS community, he/she is actively liaising with workplace and facilities representatives to transition, innovate and develop the division into a more agile and flexible organization.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Communication & Relationships
* Communicate and work effectively with Buildings & Offices services teams, leasing departments, leadership teams, regional functions and headquarters following correct lines of communication with all stakeholders and be the escalation point for all Buildings and offices topic for 7 key markets (Northern Europe, Switzerland, France, Benelux, UK, Iberia, Italy).
* Demonstrate agility and adaptability in multitasking, consolidating and summarizing buildings and offices space requirements.
* Animate Buildings and Offices Services community to ensure best practice sharing for facility and services initiatives.
* Collaborate with Maison’s Buildings and offices experts to align strategies, budgets, new spaces and refurbishments following workplace and hospitality guidelines and aligning with Richemont Group planning.
* Harmonize Buildings and Offices Services processes on agile workplace principles, digital tools, guides and procedures to standardize our buildings’ operations.
* Ensure any information that is given is current and correct within Richemont Group Real Estate’s guidelines.
* Cooperate with our Market Intelligence team to maintain database up to date for all Buildings and Offices (buildings portfolios, stack plans, LED…).
* Report monthly to Corporate Buildings and Offices Director on all Buildings and offices projects across European markets (Master plans, Services, Commitment approval requests, potential savings, team structure, boutique maintenance…).
Leadership & Project Management
* Structure Buildings and Office Services teams to reflect 3 pillars: Facility, Hospitality and Workplace.
* Implement and roll out an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) model in Europe and create regional task forces with Procurement, Finance, Legal and Human resources.
* Enhance the digitalization of the division by anticipating and planning Facility Management Service Platform (FSM) to transition all facility requests to a ticketing solution to plan our reactive and proactive maintenance for retail and corporate premises.
* Monitor the occupancy of our corporate building to provide solutions and to optimize space.
* Coordinate and follow‑up the BOS Capex planning processes together with the FP&A function, Brands and Group functions.
* Consolidate Group and Region projected headcounts to anticipate space planning and needs across all corporate sites and campuses.
* Anticipate any relocation, lease expiry dates or expansion of offices, customer services, logistics hubs in collaboration with our Leasing team.
* Collect all stack plans for major cities to keep space databases up to date for all regions.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and Group Health and Safety standards.
* Integrate RSE principles into workplace operations (energy, waste, materials).
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Workplace, Facility, Construction, Hospitality or Real Estate roles.
* Strong project management, and technical operations background.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Customer‑focused, hospitality mindset; strategic and solution‑oriented.
* Fluent in English (additional European languages like French are a plus).
