Live-In Housekeeper – Vésenaz
A family with one toddler is seeking a full-time live-in housekeeper to join their household. This is a long-term role requiring professionalism, trustworthiness, and a proactive, positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Housekeeping: Clean all areas of the home to a high standard, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, bathroom cleaning, and maintaining order
* Laundry & Ironing: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes, linens, and towels; manage wardrobe organization
* Decluttering & Organisation: Keep household spaces tidy, organized, and functional
* Errands & Shopping: Collect groceries, household items, and parcels; occasionally run errands in the local area
* Guest & Service Management: Greet and supervise service providers, deliveries, and occasional guests; ensure smooth communication
* Cooking: Prepare occasional meals for the family, primarily simple lunches or dinners
* Collaboration: Work alongside the nanny, maintaining separate roles but supporting household harmony; communicate effectively to ensure smooth daily routines
* Physical Activity: Navigate stairs frequently, move household items, and perform tasks that require physical stamina

* Proven experience as a housekeeper in private households
* Trustworthy and discreet: clear criminal record and "attestation poursuite" required
* Independent, proactive, and able to plan and manage household tasks efficiently
* Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
* Fluent in English or French; basic French helpful for local errands
* Driver's licence advantageous but not essential
