In the role as a Flight System Architect, you bring proven experience in the ATM (Air Traffic Management) industry, with solid understanding of SOA (service-oriented architecture) principle, paradigm and best practices with experience integrating legacy applications and transforming traditional application to services.
Responsibilities:
* Designs solution for all Flight functions of related system components, including coordination, planning of software integrations both internally and via third-party applications.
* Defines, reviews, and validates the short, mid, and long-term target architectures of Skyguide application landscape as a member of the System Architecture Board.
* Designs, develops, and validates solution prototypes in a variety of environments to certify the accuracy and viability of designs and implementations.
* Models, maintains, and documents all architectural artefacts and promotes optimal level of communications.
* Supports the Flight related product owners and subject matter experts to understand the domains needs and design appropriate solutions to fulfill the needs.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor of Information Technology / Computer Science.
* 10+ years of software engineering experience in a similar role in designing or developing application systems.
* Held architectural design roles, preferably system architect with 5+ years' experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
* Proficient in English written and orally; good command in French and/or German is a plus.
