The Energy Service guarantees the distribution of electricity, gas and drinking water in Yverdon-les-Bains, as well as in many neighbouring villages, while managing the public lighting network. Inspired by the 2023 Climate Plan, it places sustainable development at the heart of its projects and is committed to promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies, actively contributing to the energy transition of the entire region.
To strengthen its distribution networks department, the Energy Service is looking for a:

Head of Multi-fluid Studies and Realisations Unit at 80-100%

Your main missions and responsibilities:
Ensure the organisation and management of the unit's activities.
Lead, coordinate and guarantee the proper completion of studies and projects related to multi-fluid distribution networks: water, gas, electricity, public lighting, fibre optics as well as related works.
Ensure monitoring and compliance with investment notices, budgets and technical, safety and regulatory rules (SIA, VSS) related to the unit.
Ensure the proper execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, the production of plans and work diagrams as well as their transmission to operations.
Guarantee the link between the asset management process and the realisation processes, in collaboration with the asset manager for the selection and prioritisation of projects in the annual roadmap.
Participate in the preparation of public procurement tenders (AOMP) and ensure the monitoring of subcontracting and partners.
Coordinate the unit's activities with other service units, the City and subsidiaries (YCAD, SAGENORD), as well as with external partners (engineering offices, companies, DSO).
Ensure technical, regulatory and normative monitoring, including technological developments (BIM, etc.).
Ensure a management on-call rota.
Your profile:
You hold a HES or EPF engineering degree in civil engineering, or a training considered equivalent.
You have additional training in project management and team management.
You have at least 5 years of proven experience in personnel management and multi-fluid construction project management.
You possess good knowledge of distribution networks (water, gas, electricity, heat) as well as SIA and VSS, SVGW, AEAI, ESTI standards.
You master common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and professional software such as AutoCAD.
Good knowledge of English is required; some knowledge of German is an asset.
You hold a category B driving licence and demonstrate availability and flexibility in your working hours.
