DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Team Leader with technical background in electronics circuit design to spearhead our Bipolar Products development. This role responsibilities encompass leading a team of engineers and semiconductor experts, in the design, development, and optimization of state of the art IGCT devices with focus in gate driver development for grid applications, ensuring product excellence to meet market demands and strategic objectives.The opportunityHow you’ll make an impactGuide and drive a team of engineers in the design, simulation, and characterization for the development of new high reliable IGCT devices, including their control circuitsDrive innovation in IGCT technology, identifying and implementing novel design architectures to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectivenessOversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to mass production, including defining technical specifications, conducting design reviews, and managing development programsEstablish and maintain best practices for design methodologies, testing procedures, and quality assurance within the teamMentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performanceManage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring timely delivery of milestonesCollaborate closely with manufacturing units, quality assurance teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless product transfer and robust manufacturing processesStay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in power semiconductors and their application to inform product roadmap and strategic decisionsPrepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teamsYour backgroundMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Solid-State Physics, or a related field.
