For one of our clients, we are looking for a: Mechanical Manager (M/F) Desired profile: Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field Confirmed experience in team management Solid knowledge of various machining equipment Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise a team Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) Very good knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC preferred) Knowledge of SAP = one to federate and motivate cross-functional teams, direct and indirect Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Languages: French and English, another language = one of the regulations and standards specific to the industrial sector Benefits: A motivating and stimulating position with opportunities for growth The opportunity to take on many challenges and contribute to the success of a company with a human-centered corporate culture A good work-life balance The Manager oversees the daily activities of the internal machining department, ensuring efficient production, adherence to quality and safety standards, as well as resource management. This position involves production planning and the implementation of processes to achieve departmental objectives. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for the Apprenticeship Center, with direct responsibility for the entire X CFC program. Main responsibilities: Define and implement the objectives for milling and turning machines (CNC machines) to meet defined goals (machine rates, productive hours) Ensure a high level of quality by minimizing the non-compliance rate Ensure the proper implementation of the 4-year apprenticeship program to guarantee optimal and efficient use of training hours and obtaining the CFC Polymécanicien on time Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor performance and make necessary adjustments Train and support teams on new processes and opportunities and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for the main processes of the department Ensure that all processes comply with applicable laws and standards (ISO and ESG) jidc22e3ccaen jit0312aen jpiy26aen
