In this role you will contribute significantly to successful results in the development of next generation turbocharging products in Medium Speed, Low Speed & Rail Division in Baden/Switzerland, ensuring innovative, reliable and sustainable solutions for maximum customer value. You will lead or collaborate in product development projects and related engineering tasks in a cross-functional and multi-cultural working environment. Your responsibilities: Develop leading edge products which meet and exceed customer expectations whilst ensuring operational safety and product reliability Lead or collaborate in cross-functional product development projects Manage requirements and demands coming from customers and different internal functions (sales, supply, production, etc.) and convert them into successful product solutions Define and coordinate internal and external work packages in the fields of product and component testing, simulation and material investigations and support contractors during execution Ensure product qualification and product compliance according to internal and external regulations Use own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams Collaborate with internal functions, other R&D teams and external parties (e.g., customers, academia, development partners) Ensure state-of-the art product documentation for internal and external user groups Propose and drive optimizations of working processes which support lean development and continuous quality improvement Your background: University degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably a Master degree (or similar) At least 2 years of professional experience in relevant industry Profound knowledge of state-of-the-art development methods Strong project management and communication skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented, dynamic working environment Independent, self-organized and dedicated approach to work Analytical skills, ability to understand complex situations and lateral thinking to generate innovative solutions Ability to work successfully in international and cross-functional teams Fluent in English, German language skills are an advantage.
