Starting from the beginning of September, HESAV will move to the Health Campus, near the university city south of Lausanne. It will also welcome a new program: occupational therapy, currently at HETSL. In this perspective, the commitments related to this program will be integrated into HESAV starting January. In this context, we are looking for an Associate Professor for the Occupational Therapy program.MISSIONS: In the Occupational Therapy program, you will design and deliver courses at the Bachelor and Master levels while participating in the development, management, and activities of the program in collaboration with the program heads. You will assume responsibilities for modules and supervise Bachelor and Master projects. Additionally, you will collaborate in the guidance of students, develop partnerships with professional environments, and coordinate courses with other health programs. Finally, you will teach research methodologies, particularly in occupational therapy, and carry out service studies, research and development projects, as well as knowledge transfer activities.REQUIREMENTS: You hold a degree in a reference discipline for occupational therapy (in health sciences, rehabilitation, etc.). Your area of expertise focuses on elderly people, aging and dementia, sustainable group processes in occupational therapy, community-oriented approaches, or technologies serving health. You have at least 5 years of professional experience in occupational therapy; teaching experience at a university level would be an additional asset. Moreover, you have teaching experience or are willing to acquire it. You have a good command of English; proficiency in German would be a plus. You have an excellent knowledge of occupational therapy and health sciences, complemented by a good aptitude for using digital tools. You demonstrate autonomy and the ability to conduct research projects, as well as the capacity to work in a team and collaborate in a dynamic environment.Deadline for applications: March 6.
