The Role
You will join a specialised engineering team as an Electrical Engineer responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for complex automated industrial machines. You will be involved throughout the full lifecycle from functional analysis and design through to on-site commissioning at client facilities working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and size electrical distribution systems and control cabinets for industrial machines.
Deliver electrical design from requirements through to commissioning.
Produce technical documentation including functional analysis, risk assessments and specifications.
Support manufacturing and subcontractors during build phases.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during on-site commissioning.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial machines (not buildings or process plants).
Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and machine safety.
Experience with risk analysis and technical documentation.
Proficiency in Caneco BT (preferred); EPLAN P8 is a plus.
Experience with lifting, positioning or similar machinery is advantageous.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning.
