Role Overview

We’re looking for an ambitious health PR/communications Junior Associate (Junior Account Executive) level candidate, ideally with experience working with medical/healthcare integrated comms accounts. You will play a key role in supporting account teams with the implementation of tactical programmes and their components.

The successful hire will be responsible for managing and responding to client needs and requests in specific areas of responsibility alongside other team members, while also starting to develop versatile writing skills and advancing client relations skills.


Responsibilities

* Supports the implementation of multiple projects across accounts, as well as drives the timely, effective and efficient delivery of organisational and administrative elements of account work (status reports, action lists, call notes, etc.)
* Develops solid first drafts of documents for account work (e.g. summary of logistical arrangements, results of media audit, media materials, etc.).
* Works to agreed activity plans, demonstrating understanding of detailed project requirements (including deadlines) and taking the initiative to liaise with supervisors and third parties to deliver to brief. Proactively identifies issues and recommends solutions
* Has a good understanding of the status of activities across an account, even when not directly involved (e.g. through monitoring emails and from team update meetings)
* Proactively updates more senior team members on work progress. Checks in with Account or Project Managers to ensure they have the support they need to deliver by deadlines
* Liaises well with clients on a day-to-day basis to progress activities/projects in specific areas of responsibility
* Develops a good understanding of clients, their products, and relevant disease areas
* Takes responsibility for foundational financial elements of client accounts (e.g. vendor quotes/invoices, PO generation, ongoing cost tracking and reconciliation) – flags any concerns about available funds to account lead


Candidate Profile

* Ideally experienced working in medical/healthcare communications in a communications agency or in-house, preferably within the pharma/healthcare environment
* Ideally BSc or MSc qualification
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail, completing actions on time and to a high quality (e.g. minimal copy or formatting errors)
* Ideally some understanding of the regulatory framework across major European health systems
* Some knowledge of key healthcare media outlets and types of healthcare stories they report and why
* Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communications skills; additional languages are a plus
* Swiss National or EU passport holder with the right to work in Switzerland – international relocation is not offered

Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Account Director with a solid background in healthcare communications, and the ability to stretch in corporate communications as needed. You will lead pan-European and global communications programs for international healthcare and corporate clients, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful strategies and campaigns from our Geneva office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of over 30 experts in integrated media, content, analytics, and strategy.


What will you be doing?

* Act as the senior client contact, providing strategic counsel and managing relationships across key accounts.
* Lead the development and execution of communications strategies and plans tailored to complex, multi-market needs.
* Drive organic growth by proactively identifying opportunities within existing accounts and supporting new business development efforts.
* Manage and mentor account teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages high performance.
* Oversee budgets, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources to deliver exceptional client work.
* Apply insight-led thinking to shape messaging frameworks, campaigns, and channel strategies, integrating traditional, digital, and social media.


Who are you?

* Demonstrated success as an Account Director (or equivalent senior role) in a communications agency or in-house, preferably within a pharma/healthcare environment, with experience leading pan-European or global programs.
* Solid understanding of the healthcare sector, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling communications.
* A strategic and analytical mindset with a knack for spotting opportunities and anticipating client needs.
* Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
* A collaborative leader and team player who inspires others and contributes positively to agency culture.
* Swiss national or EU passport holder with the right to work in Switzerland – international relocation is not offered.
