* Ensure the chemical conformity of materials used in commercial productions and projects assigned by the Board.
* Act as the Traceability Process Owner.

MISSION 1: Ensure the smooth running of the association
* Participate in the development of strategy and organization with the statutory bodies in accordance with the responsibilities of the established processes.
* Establish and ensure the proper execution of the budget in accordance with the responsibilities of the established processes.
* Report to the Board on the projects entrusted to you.
* Participate in and prepare meetings with other team members, technical working groups, and the Board.
* Manage relations and contracts with external service providers within your scope.
* Develop external relations and represent the association and its members.
* Ensure that AQC members and stakeholders are informed of current and proposed regulatory requirements and their impact on activities.
MISSION 2: Chemical Compliance
* Define test policies and control plans for all components and finished products.
* Oversee proper sampling, laboratory testing, report review, and database entry.
* Manage non-conformities, investigations, and related action plans.
* Conduct technical and regulatory monitoring, providing recommendations to members for future regulations.
* Analyse brand requests received by members.
* Define RoadMap objectives.
* Manage Supply Chain Mapping system and annual delivery schedules.
* Ensure regulatory and technological monitoring.
* Lead technical committees.
* Participate in traceability projects.
MISSION 4: Credibility
* Act as the Process Owner for Physical Test Harmonization and Standardization.
Define RoadMap objectives, lead harmonization efforts with members, watch brands, and standardization committees, ensure regulatory and technological monitoring, lead the Harmonization Technical Committee, provide technical support to members, and manage production of testing reagents.
* Support certification requirements development with members (specifications, audit questionnaires, etc.) based on current and future regulations and brand needs.
* Update evaluation rules for leather suppliers.
* Annually review leather supplier assessments, inform recipients, and manage proof distribution (e.g., badges).
* Organize and conduct laboratory visits.
Experience, Knowledge & Know-how
* Advanced degree in science, preferably leather and/or chemistry.
* Excellent command of English and French; Italian is an advantage.
* Experience in team management, project management, and team spirit.
* Strong organizational skills and presentation abilities (oral/written).
* Skilled in stakeholder negotiation and legislative/regulatory understanding.
* Proficient in data and database management.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leather and leather goods manufacturing, supply chain, or testing.
