Job Description
* Prepare and oversee accurate financial statements and reporting in compliance with applicable regulations;
* Manage the accounting team to ensure efficient and timely processing of financial transactions;
* Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies;
* Support budget planning and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making;
* Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes;
* Review and improve accounting procedures for enhanced efficiency and accuracy;
* Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management for informed decision-making;
* Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
The Successful Applicant
* An academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field;
* At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar position;
* Ability to
* Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous;
* Fluency in English and French.
