Backend Rust Engineer – Options Trading

Role Overview
You will be part of the Options Business Unit’s fully remote engineering team, building and improving a low‑latency options trading system. You’ll solve business problems with high impact, operating across Asian or European time‑zones.
Responsibilities
* Design scalable system architecture and simple, extendable APIs.
* Experience with low‑latency and/or option trading is highly valued.
* Collaborate within a globally remote async team.
* Apply pragmatic problem‑solving, balancing business needs with long‑term technical vision.
* Own the cycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
* Maintain operational awareness of infrastructure and deployments.
Qualifications
* Expertise in low‑latency or data‑heavy trading systems (5+ years).
* Strong experience in Rust and/or C/C++.
* Willingness to master Rust if not already proficient.
* Experience with unit and integration testing.
* Knowledge of options trading or keen interest (essential).
* Experience with exchange connectivity and/or FPGA technologies is valuable.
* Proficiency with PostgreSQL and protobuf‑based protocols (essential).
