JOB SUMMARY:
As a Financial Analyst at Ascent, you will be responsible for managing financial close processes, performing trend analysis, and preparing detailed financial reports. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure accurate invoicing and provide financial insights to support decision-making. This role will also involve developing financial models and participating in special projects aimed at improving profitability.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
* Financial Close and Forecasting: Support monthly financial close processes, analyze invoicing data, and assist with forecasting
* Collaborate on Invoicing: Work with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for clients and partners
* Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track performance
* Data Analysis: Utilize large datasets to provide actionable insights and improve financial reporting
* Special Projects: Contribute to financial modeling projects, including rebate analysis and cash flow forecasting
YOUR PROFILE:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or budgeting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of data analysis tools such as PowerBI or SQL is an advantage.
* Proficiency in English at a C1 level
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer-focused approach.
