Executive Housekeeper

In this position, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and management of the entire housekeeping department. your tasks:
Overall responsibility for the organization, quality assurance, and further development of the housekeeping department with a team of around 50 international employees
Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and care in all guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, and outdoor facilities in accordance with The Chedi Andermatt standards and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) guidelines
Strategic staff planning, including recruitment, scheduling, vacation planning, coaching and annual employee reviews to promote individual and team-related goals
Budget responsibility for the housekeeping department, including cost control, warehouse, and inventory management
Development, implementation, and monitoring of processes, training programs, and deep cleaning plans for continuous optimization of service quality
Close cooperation with other departments and management to ensure a smooth and excellent guest journey – from check-in to departure
Actively serving as a role model with regard to the philosophy, values, and service culture of The Chedi Andermatt, as well as continuously increasing guest satisfaction
your profile:
Completed education in the hotel industry and/or diploma from a hotel management school
Several years of management experience in the housekeeping department of a luxury hotel (at least two years in the same position or three to four years as Assistant Executive Housekeeper)
Confident personality with excellent manners
Fluent written and spoken German and English; other languages are an advantage
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills, as well as in-depth product and material knowledge
High attention to detail, cost and quality awareness combined with a proactive "can-do" mentality
Guest-oriented, cooperative, and motivating approach to work with a passion for excellent service culture
salary range: CHF 75k to 90k based on qualifications
