Key responsibilities
1. Plan, design and deliver endtoend Packet Core products and solutions (5GC, PCF, PCRF) to ensure reliable and scalable network operation
2. Lead and provide technical expertise for major network deployments, upgrades, migrations and expansions
3. Participate in testing, troubleshooting, validation and rollout of new core network features and releases
4. Prepare and maintain technical documentation: design documents, runbooks, procedures and handover packages
5. Follow internal processes and use company systems to support project delivery and change management
6. Act as technical interface to customer engineering teams and support technical escalations
7. Support automation, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations and deployment efficiency
Required profile (musthave)
8. Minimum 3 years handson experience in network operations, engineering or delivery projects (preferably core networks)
9. Proven practical experience with 5GC / Packet Core products
10. Solid knowledge of PCF/PCRF and familiarity with VoLTE / VoNR call flows
11. Strong IP networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and Linux/UNIX commandline experience
12. Basic understanding of telco cloud concepts, virtualization and container platforms
13. Selfstarter with a flexible working style and ability to work independently in a dynamic, customerfacing environment
14. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage
15. Eligible to work in Switzerland
Preferred qualifications
16. Experience with Huawei NFV/IMS products or other vendor core solutions
17. Familiarity with cloudnative technologies (Kubernetes, CNF/VM operations)
18. Experience with automation/orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD) and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
19. Relevant certifications/training (e.g., 3GPP, CCNP, Linux, 5G/Packet Core)
20. Customer-facing or project delivery experience in multinational environments
