Your Impact
As a hands-on Polymechaniker/Industriemechaniker or similar technician, you will be central to our lab operations — transforming mechanical and electromechanical ideas into prototypes. You will support engineering and workshop functions, developing tools, rigs, and scalable assembly processes. This role suits a practical builder who values precision, independence, and collaboration with top engineers.
Responsibilities
* Build and test mechanical and electromechanical prototypes from early designs.
* Perform rapid prototyping and assembly trials.
* Improve workshop workflows, tooling, inventory, and calibration.
* Operate shop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and test setups.
* Collaborate with engineering to refine designs for prototyping and manufacturing.
* Conduct goods-in inspections, maintain PPE and tools, and ensure safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
Qualifications
* Hands-on problem solver with strong craftsmanship, capable of working independently and in teams.
* Proactive, communicative, and able to work closely with engineers and technicians.
* Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, with a focus on quality and operational safety.
* Adaptable in fast-paced, evolving technical environments.
* Fluent in German and very good English skills.
* Experience in machining, wiring, mechanical assembly, and calibration/test equipment usage.
