SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Support the definition and implementation and acceleration of Decarbonization-, Industrial Development Initiatives and Projects in a systematic manner, applying state of the art project management tools and systems as well as tracking tools. The nature of development projects covers the areas of sustainability, carbon emission reduction, technological development as well as, the plant of tomorrow.
MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
● Supports the definition of development projects and initiatives, setting up state of the art project management tools and processes, together with stakeholders from group companies, the regional- and corporate organization and workstreams.
● Ensures all workstreams, initiatives and projects are properly defined based on PMA (Project Management Approach), with objectives, deliverables, timeline, action owners/responsibilities and stakeholders definition focusing on executability
● Monitors and supervises project implementation according to timeline and resource requirements. Managing and maintaining the ongoing documentation required throughout the different phases of the project.
● Anticipates and keeps track of occurring issues and takes measures accordingly
● Supports organization and planning of Steering Committee and working groups
● Ensures proper interaction and information exchange is taking place across the various stakeholders and projects
● Ensures and leads consistency across data and baseline on performance delivery of initiatives and projects
● Builds and manages information platform to share status and developments of respective projects and initiatives
● Reports on the completion of the project activities from the start up to the final conclusion with the countries project teams

● Decarbonisation &CEM Leadership team, Workstreams Champions and Leadership teams from other functions, such as Finance, Sustainability, Commercial and Logistic

● Finance area: Plant & Regional controllers
● For specific projects leads and coordinates experts from Commercial Function (product development) and Logistic
PROFILE REQUIRED
Level of education/qualifications normally required:
● University Master's degree preferably in Engineering
Specific work experience:
● Working experience in industry: 5 years
● Minimum of 3 years work experience in project management
● Project realization and hands on field experience is a plus
● Experience in working in cross functional teams
Technical/ functional skills:
● Project management skills
● Business acumen
● Basic Cement Industrial knowledge
● Basic product application (cement and basic understanding of concrete applications)
● Planning and organizing skills
● Computer literacy (MS office & Power Point / Google suite, AutoCAD)
