The Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICC) is a growing bi‑national, private sector, non‑profit association with more than 400 Swiss and Indian members. It is the leading platform for cross‑border business, investments and trade between Switzerland and India and has played a pivotal role in securing the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) between EFTA/Switzerland and India.
Founded in 1985 and having celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025, SICC is widely recognised as a key stakeholder in advancing Swiss‑Indian economic relations. As an independent organisation, the Chamber co‑operates with all relevant public agencies and private institutions in both countries dedicated to the same goals.
SICC’s office is led by the Managing Director who is responsible for running the Chamber. We are looking for a passionate, motivated and accomplished professional to join our small and energetic team as Manager Administration & Events (50%).
Your responsibilities:
Administration/Accounting
* Financial administration, invoicing and debtor management
* General administration and communication
Membership/Partnership/Sponsorship Management
* Maintain membership and mailing database
* Acquire and onboard new members/partners/sponsors
* Membership/Partnership/Sponsorship management and retention
* Represent SICC at events
Event Management
* Event conception and budgeting
* Event administration and coordination
* Event promotion and communication (in cooperation with our Manager Communications)
Your profile:
* Solid background in Business Administration and Project/Event Management
* Accounting skills and experience (Bexio experience is a plus)
* Writing skills and social media affinity
* International exposure to India in a work‑related and/or personal context
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and German
* Based in Switzerland, with the relevant residence/work permits

The employment start date is to be mutually agreed.
