Job Description

Protectas is a nationwide presence with multiple sites serving business users. Our Service Desk team provides remote and onsite assistance to ensure seamless operations. As a Service Desk Specialist, you'll be part of our small team dedicated to delivering exceptional support.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Resolve user incidents and service requests using our ITSM tool
* Offer expert advice on IT processes and technical solutions
* Sustain onsite IT systems
* Plan and execute onsite tasks
* Deploy, set up, and manage computer hardware, including lifecycle management
* Keep IT asset information up-to-date
* Promote process improvements and enhance the user experience
* Manage Windows OS lifecycles and patching
* Oversee printer management
* Participate in country or group projects to modernize workplaces

Required Qualifications:

Soft Skills:

* Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Able to listen actively and empathetically
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
* Effective time management and punctuality
* Experience working collaboratively within a team to achieve goals
* Ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions
* Develop professional relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Self-motivation and drive to work independently

Technical Skills:

* Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
* Active Directory, DHCP, DNS infrastructure
* Office 365 and MS Teams phone system
* SCCM for deployment, packaging, and patching
* ITSM tools like Service Now and Ivanti
* Fortigate VPN technology
* Teamviewer software
* Project and change management principles
* ITIL framework
* Proficiency in French and English (German a plus)
