The Department of Culture and Digital Transition (DCTN) is looking for an Executive Assistant at 80%. The DCTN implements the cultural policy of the City in the fields of performing and visual arts, museums, and libraries. It supports artistic endeavors while preserving and enhancing the cultural and scientific heritage of the City. It manages major cultural institutions, organizes and supports large-scale cultural events, facilitates citizen engagement, and promotes culture through the activities of its institutions and services. The DCTN is also responsible for municipal digital policy and develops a responsible, inclusive, and innovative digital agenda. To strengthen its team, the DCTN is looking for an Executive Assistant at 80%.Your mission and responsibilities:- Ensure the support of the Department's Presidency, under the functional responsibility of the Head's Assistant, notably managing the agenda, emails, and correspondence, as well as scheduling appointments and travel.- Collaborate on monitoring Council sessions: preparing and registering documents for the weekly agenda, following up and processing decisions.- Perform various tasks upon request from the Head's Assistant, the Director, or the department’s management (dashboard creation, event planning, etc.).Your profile:- Hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification, with several years of experience in a similar role.- Have excellent knowledge of the political and cultural landscape of Geneva, with a strong sense of public service and exhibiting tact, diplomacy, and discretion.- Display flexibility and a strong sense of initiative and autonomy in your work.- Show good stress resistance and the ability to manage priorities effectively.- Collaborate efficiently within a team and adopt a solution-oriented approach.- Master verbal and written communication in French and be able to write independently.- Demonstrate a willingness to mentor and train apprentices.- Use standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) with ease.Conditions and application procedure:Application deadline: to be confirmedStart date: to be agreed uponJob classification: Class G of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- A cover letter- A Curriculum Vitae or, if not available, a completed job application form (to be downloaded from our website)- Copies of diplomas and work certificates- A recent passport-sized photoIn Geneva, the recruitment process is decentralized, meaning each service or department is responsible for managing applications for the positions they offer.
