Timberland Global is looking for an exceptional Product Developer (Fixed Term - 1 year) to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let's Talk About The Role
As a Product Developer at Timberland, you'll be an integral part of our Product Development team, supporting the creation of industry-leading apparel. You'll help drive the development process from concept to final product, ensuring that all key calendar milestones are met and that our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and sustainability.
What You'll Do
 * Support the development of a diverse range of products across multiple subcategories.
 * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Design, Merchandising, Materials, and Sourcing etc to bring products to life.
 * Manage daily communication with Regional Offices to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
 * Assist senior team members in executing seasonal development strategies and maintaining critical path timelines.
 * A passion for product and a keen eye for detail.
 * Strong organisational and communication skills.
 * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment.
How You Will Make a Difference
 * Predictive costing and FOB negotiations to support margin target achievement
 * Cross‑functional meetings and fit sessions to align on product execution
 * The review and measuring of prototype samples prior to fittings to ensure alignment with size and construction specifications
 * The development of accurate measurement specification charts to guide sample development
 * Timberland's quality and performance standards are consistently met throughout the sampling process
Skills For Success
You should be a team player, detail‑oriented, analytical, dynamic, and possess strong entrepreneurial skills. You should also be flexible and able to thrive in a global, fast‑paced environment where priorities frequently shift, and deadlines must be met.
 * A few years of industry experience
 * Ability to adopt and embrace changes with a growth mindset.
 * Excellent time management, communication & organization skills with excellent attention to detail.
 * Possesses a can‑do approach
 * Be able to work to deadlines.
 * Knowledge of construction suitability, manufacturing sewing operations and costing consequences with solutions‑based mind‑set.
 * The ability to communicate effectively with overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders.
