Job Summary
At Diverzify, the Director of Project Accounting will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in project accounting, financial management, and construction project operations. This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
* Collaborate with executive leadership to align project accounting functions with organizational strategies.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support construction project goals and overall company objectives.
* Oversee various aspects of project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of project costs, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
* Monitor and analyze project financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the project accounting team.
* Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects.
* Prepare and present regular financial reports to executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide transparent and accurate financial information.
* Oversee the implementation and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for efficient project accounting processes.
* Collaborate with IT teams to address system issues and enhance functionalities.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of financial and project management processes.
* Provide financial guidance and support to project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within project accounting in the construction industry.
* Thorough understanding of construction accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
* Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
Preferred Qualifications
* CPA or CMA certification preferred.
