Develops a deep knowledge of the supported function and builds positive relationships throughout. Educates business partners about processes, roles, and I&T capabilities that create value.
Ensures business value realization, develops technology roadmaps, business case development, manages expectations, and identifies opportunities for technology to add value.
Serves as a trusted advisor and primary I&T contact to business leaders, providing strategic support and communicating project decisions and priorities.
Leads a team including business partners, project managers, analysts, and support staff from internal and external resources.
Supports delivery of technology projects aligned with business needs, focusing on strategic initiatives and understanding market challenges.
Develops and implements solution roadmaps, ensuring successful organization-wide and customer integrations, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborates with other I&T functions, identifies business opportunities, and partners with leadership on initiatives and technology integration within business roadmaps.
Focuses on business value, problem framing, digital trends, risk assessments, and business continuity.
Creates and drives the I&T vision for the supported business function, inspiring confidence and purpose.
Utilizes industry trends and digital advances to identify new opportunities and meet business needs.
Applies I&T architectural principles to solutions, ensuring alignment with standards and frameworks.
Provides guidance on business best practices, supporting continuous improvement across global technology platforms.
Visualizes and develops high-level models to extend and mature business architecture.
Manages people and sourcing strategies to meet strategic goals, overseeing internal and external staff via CSL’s contract with Capgemini.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant discipline; MBA desirable.
* Extensive IT experience (15+ years), including leadership and global management.
* Experience in project management, influencing senior stakeholders, and working in regulated environments like Pharma/Biotech.
* Strong strategic planning, operational mindset, and results orientation.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Leadership in a matrix environment and change management capabilities.
