As part of our Sigma Temporary department, we are pleased to collaborate with a renowned company in the construction sector based in Valais.
To meet their needs, we are actively seeking a confirmed ES technician in carpentry (m/f):
ES Technician in Carpentry
Technical skills (core profession)
Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams and calculation notes
Knowledge of timber structures (traditional carpentry, industrial, glued laminated timber)
Mastery of assembly techniques (tenon and mortise joints, notches, metal connectors)
Marking out, cutting and machining wood
Use and adjustment of machines and tools (saw, planer, mortiser, power tools)
Implementation of roofs and timber frameworks
Knowledge of construction standards and regulations (DTU, safety rules)
Installation, assembly and lifting of carpentry elements
Quality control, verification of stability and compliance
Basic knowledge of material strength and load calculations
Additional technical skills:
Use of drawing or CAD software (e.g. Cadwork, AutoCAD, SEMA)
Reading technical documents and digital plans
Basics of measurement and cost estimation
Site monitoring and coordination with other trades
Maintenance and upkeep of timber structures
Safety and organisational skills:
Strict application of safety rules on site
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Organisation of the workstation
Respect for deadlines and procedures
Safe working at height
Interpersonal skills (soft skills):
Team spirit and collaboration with other stakeholders
Clear communication with colleagues, site manager or clients
Autonomy and sense of responsibility
Stress management and adaptability to site constraints
Respect for instructions and hierarchy
Your profile:
ES technician diploma
Skills in planning, reading and preparing plans
Use of technical software (Cadwork, AutoCAD, etc.)
Interface between design office and site
Personal qualities:

Adaptability and stress management
Conditions:
Category B driving licence required
Availability for site interventions
