We are pleased to collaborate with a major industrial company based in Lausanne area in the search for a Controller (80%).
Key responsibilities
* Prepare weekly financials dashboards
* Reconcile Gross Margin as per controlling vs. accounting systems
* Stock management (adjustment of negative stock/volumes)
* Perform financials analysis
* Responsible for reporting Annual Budgets and preparing/reporting periodic Forecasts
* Evaluate internal controls (ICS) and propose solutions to any weaknesses observed
* Provide financial information and reports requested by Group
* Co-responsible for preparing yearly Statutory Financial Statements and Group Reports
* Lead yearly audit preparation for controlling (ICS, margin analysis, inventory, sales)
* Elaborate and maintain BI reports
* Support General Accountant in ensuring invoices booking and organizing payments, in bookkeeping & closing tasks (backup)
* Calculate Transfer Prices by product group for sales and purchases within the Group
* Analyse (monthly) Operating Margin variances and trend of Group SC Companies
* Autonomously prepare monthly Transfer Prices Rolling forecast for Group’s companies
* Actively participate in monthly monitoring profitability of each company versus targeted profitability and recalculate Transfer Prices as required to assure reaching yearly targets
Profile
* 5 to 10 years of professional experience in controlling, supporting financial planning and performance monitoring
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business objectives
* Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, providing meaningful insights for decision‑making
* Strong understanding of financial controlling processes and reporting standards
* Experience in preparing regular financial reports and working with large datasets
* Detail‑oriented with a structured, analytical mindset and a high level of accuracy
* Proactive and reliable team player with good organizational and time management skills
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly
