We are looking for a senior accountant for our client who will be able to assist our client, initially for the closing period with the possibility of remaining in the staff after the temporary mission. Our client is a dynamic and ambitious company based in Geneva.ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of this senior accountant position will be as follows:- Ensure ongoing monitoring of the group companies- Maintain the accounting of Swiss companies, multi-currency, up to closing- Monitor the management indicators established to evaluate the company’s activity and share with management- Verify that the accounting is correct, reliable, and accurately reflects the company’s transactions- Follow up on open customer accounts and manage reminders- Follow up on open supplier accounts- Take monthly exchange rates- Prepare internal FG, interest calculations, etc.- Monitor inventory of goods and investment budgets- Prepare the monthly accounting closing project for Swiss companies- Control cash in multiple currencies- Establish forms if necessary & withholding tax- Prepare and/or control Swiss VAT for Swiss companies- Control and validate payment proposals- Control and validate expense reports and credit card statements- Validate the onboarding of new clients and suppliers- Ensure the analysis of variances between forecasts and outcomes and identify their causes- Monitor and enforce internal budgets- Identify variances between outcomes and forecasts- Measure and analyze variances in the form of commented dashboards and activity reports- Share monthly cost or profit centers with all department heads, with comments if necessary- Ensure monthly reporting for Swiss companiesProfileThe sought-after senior accountant will have the following background and experiences:- Mastery of the fundamentals of Swiss accounting with at least 5 years of experience in Switzerland- Proven experience in accounting, audit follow-up, and account closing- Federal diploma desired or equivalent- Analytical skills, synthesis spirit, quality oral and written knowledge of English- Knowledge of Proconcept and knowledge of ExcelConditions and BenefitsThe opportunity to join a growing Geneva-based company. jid7ea0aecaen jit0312aen jpiy26aen
