Job Title: Technical Sales Support
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and structured Technical Sales Support professional to join our team in the Zurich area. This is a Try & Hire model, where the selected candidate will initially be hired on a temporary basis for three months.
After successful completion of this period and mutual agreement, a transition to permanent employment is highly anticipated.
Description:
The ideal candidate will provide expert technical support and tailored solutions in collaboration with Sales Engineers, manage RFQs and project progression, ensure cross-functional alignment for efficient delivery, uphold quality standards, and continuously develop technical expertise to drive customer satisfaction and business success.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Support customers with technical advice and product solutions while coordinating with sales engineers.
* Cooperate with sales engineers to create and review technical details, ensuring correct pricing and effective project planning.
* Provide initial help for technical issues and guidance on product use.
* Handle customers quote requests by preparing accurate and timely responses based on their needs.
* Follow up on customer projects and support progress together with the service team.
* Connect different teams including technical, sales, and customer service to keep projects running smoothly.
* Actively build your knowledge through training and stay current with product and industry updates.
* Maintain high standards for quotes and orders while tracking performance through regular reporting.
Requirements:
To be considered for the role, you must have:
* A bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in a technical field.
* At least 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* General IT affinity, previous knowledge in SAP is strongly preferred.
* Solid English skills, ideally very good German skills.
* Every additional national language is a plus.
* Proven ability to organize and manage multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.
