Role Description
As a full-time member of our Administration department in Lausanne, you will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, participate in monthly and annual closings, carry out administrative tasks related to human resources and provide essential support to our project team in the administrative management and financial monitoring of projects
Accounting
 * Re
 cord daily accounting operations (bank, invoices, expense reports, credit cards, payments).
 * Perform bank and inter-company account reconciliation.
 * Participate in monthly and annual closings, prepare documentation for the audit.
 * File VAT statements.
 * Manage the follow-up of debtors, customer collections and sending reminders
HR Support
 * Prepare salary statements.
 * Monitor hours and absences
 * Manage formalities related to the arrival and departure of employees (contracts, permit applications, allowances, pension fund affiliation/disaffiliation, etc.).
 * To report cases of illness, accidents or other absences to the relevant social insurance companies.
Administrative, logistical and financial management of projects
 * Support project managers and designers on the financial, logistical and VAT aspects of projects
 * Financial monitoring of ongoing projects and control budgets
 * Issue project-related invoices
 * Ad hoc assistance with quotation, order confirmation, and purchase order
 * Guarantee internal support as Abacus key-user
 * Contribute to process and ERP improvement
Qualifications
 * You have a federal specialist certificate in Finance and Accounting, supplemented by experience in a similar position of at least 3 to 5 years in a Swiss SME, preferably in a project-driven company.
 * You are comfortable with Office 365 tools, including Excel. Previous experience with Abacus is desired.
 * You are versatile and have an excellent understanding of buying/selling dynamics.
 * You have a perfect command of French and English, both written and oral; Knowledge of German or Italian is a valued asset.
 * You are a team player, while knowing to work independently and structuredly.
 * You act with a sense of responsibility, combining rigour, reliability and efficiency.
 * You have a sense of customer service, a results-oriented approach.
 * You have a strong affinity for numbers, but above all you know how to interpret and adapt according to the case.
 * You understand the nuances and specific contexts that can change a procedure.
