Position: After Sales Project Engineer
Overview
As an After Sales Project Engineer at INAUTEC GmbH in Switzerland, you will play a crucial technical role in supporting the reliability and safety of advanced drive and control systems for amusement rides and passenger transportation facilities. You will provide troubleshooting, retrofitting, and on-site service to ensure high system performance and customer satisfaction worldwide.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide after sales technical support, troubleshooting, and fault resolution.
* Conduct fault analysis, repairs, and implement customer-oriented technical solutions.
* Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to implement retrofit and upgrade projects.
* Participate in on-site commissioning, testing, and acceptance of new and existing systems.
* Prepare and maintain service documentation, reports, and technical communication with customers.
* Support development and implementation of safety functions and compliance with international standards (ISO, IEC, EN, UL).
* Deliver training and technical guidance to clients' operation and maintenance staff.
* Provide engineering input to spare parts and retrofit projects in coordination with the After Sales Administrator Officer.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree (BSc) or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Experience:
* Proven experience in automation, drive technology, or service engineering, preferably in the amusement ride, transportation, or industrial automation sectors.
* Knowledge in electrical engineering, control, and plant engineering
* Proficient in Siemens and Rockwell software platforms
* Abilities:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.
* Competence in preparing and maintaining detailed technical documentation and service reports.
* Capability to support commissioning, retrofits, and on-site troubleshooting.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
* Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German or additional languages are an advantage.
* Adaptability to multidisciplinary teamwork and dynamic project requirements.
* Willingness to travel internationally and engage with diverse cultures and challenging technical environments.
