Their seasoned Private Markets team is looking for a new talent to join them and work in duo on their Private Credit Funds portfolio.Your mission and contribution As a Private Credit Associate, working hand in hands with the Head of the Private Credit portfolio you will be supporting the sourcing, due diligence, execution, monitoring, portfolio management, reporting activities and investments in private credit (PC) funds and credit hedge-funds (distressed strategies). The role will include exposure to private equity (PE) fund investments and co-investments as well.As part of your responsibilities you will:Support the investment process by performing market research and analysis, and by mapping private credit markets and investment opportunities, with a US and Europe focus, including preparation of market and strategy related materials Support new investment origination and execution efforts for private credit fund opportunities. The role also involves exposure to private equity and co-investments opportunities Assist in due diligence across every stage of the investment process including investment screening, qualitative and quantitative analysis, sensitizing financial models, preparation of investment documents or presentations and investment subscriptions Assist in portfolio monitoring and risk analysis, reporting and evaluating performance and preparation of any materials related thereto Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on investment and monitoring activities Support any reporting or documentation requirements and contribute to the development of tools and databases Contribute to team discussions and promote an open culture of challenging and being challenged Travel to maintain an active network of fund managers in Europe and US and assist to major investment management conferencesRequirements3 to 5 years of relevant experience in private credit fund investing (Candidates with more experience could be considered depending on profiles) Experience in special situations and / or distressed credit investing (including credit hedge fund investing), direct lending (sponsored & non-sponsored) and mezzanine investing (junior capital financings) Experience in consumer debt, regulatory capital transactions, liquid credit (loans, high yield, CLOs, MBS), royalties, litigation finance and / or asset-backed credit is relevant and welcome Other investment experience is a plus, e.g. direct private credit investing, PE or PERE funds, co-investments Transaction services, investment banking or equivalent experience can be an asset Master degree. Additional certifications (CFA or CAIA are a plus) Team player with high degree of commitment, maturity, and integrity Strong analytical, quantitative, and collaborative skills with close attention to detail Self-driven and capable of working independently, in prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently Positive attitude, agility and openness Fluent English.
