Your responsibilities
* Development & Optimization: Design of individual components up to highly complex assemblies.
* Engineering cycle: Implementation of reengineering projects and industrialization of existing designs.
* Simulation: Creation of strength calculations and FEM analyses for structurally relevant components.
* Technical support: Contact person for production regarding technical questions and optimization of manufacturing processes.
* Prototyping: Active participation in the construction of prototypes, conducting tests and supporting series production launches.
* Standardization: Ensuring compliance with international standards and internal design guidelines.
* Education: Completed studies in mechanical engineering (preferably from a university of applied sciences).
* Foundation: Basic technical training (e.g., design engineer, polymechanic, or plant and apparatus engineer).
* CAD expertise: Good knowledge of 3D CAD (ideally NX/Teamcenter or Inventor/Vault).
* Manufacturing know-how: Understanding of processes such as machining, welding and sheet metal fabrication.
* Soft skills: Analytical thinking, proactive work style and organizational talent for multitasking scenarios.
* Languages: Very good German (C1) and English skills (B1/B2 level).
