Your Role
In this role, you will report to the team leader of the System Team in the Platform department. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of our Linux-based systems infrastructure, both internally and for our clients.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT environment. This role requires a solid understanding of Linux operating systems, server technologies, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will be understanding the inner working of our clients specificities and apply Elca Cloud Services’ best practices and processes to provide a stable, dynamic, and secure environment.
In the team you will oversee:
Implement and maintain various applications and services, with a focus on Linux technologies.
Design, configure and optimize scalable system architectures within an organization's IT infrastructure.
Monitor system performance to ensure availability, reliability and security. Diagnose the root cause of incidents and resolve technical problems to minimize service interruptions.
Provide 2nd level support for system-related problems, from troubleshooting to resolution.
Use automation tools such as Puppet, Rundeck and Terraform to streamline operations.
Develop scripts and workflows, using them to perform repetitive tasks and improve diagnostics and resolutions.
Manage all Linux systems and ensure they are up to date, secure and supported.

Your expertise covers some or all the following:
Linux server
vSphere
Mariadb, Postgresql, MongoDB
Docker, kubernetes, OKD and Openshift
Gitlab
Network concepts and security (Firewall, Proxy, Load balancers, DNS/DHCP, VPNs)
Monitoring and automation tools (Puppet, Terraform, CheckMK)
IaaS on AWS/Azure experience a big plus
You have an excellent command of spoken and written French and English.
