We are seeking a qualified andenthusiastic Visiting Lecturer to join our Faculty and to teach Frenchas a foreign language. The successful candidate will contribute to theacademic mission of Les Roches Crans-Montana by delivering high-quality classesto students pursuing their bachelor's degree.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in French, Linguistics, or a related field.
2. Qualification as French teacher for higher education.
3. Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching French to international students, preferably at university level.
4. Fluent in English.
5. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Knowledge of the Tourism and Hospitality industry preferred.
7. Knowledge of the latest teaching methodologies and technologies in language education.
8. Proficiency in using digital tools and online platforms.
9. Availability throughout the semester, starting as of September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Design and deliver engaging and effective French classes, by following the lesson plans.
11. Assess and monitor student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback.
12. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
13. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall educational experience.
14. Develop knowledge and skills and participate in professional development opportunities.
