Manpower As an ICT Support Engineer, you will provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users for our client. You will assist with hardware and software troubleshooting, IT service delivery, and contribute to maintaining a stable IT environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide onsite and remote support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals - Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests via the service management tool (e.g., ServiceNow) - Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and standard software packages - Support user onboarding and offboarding processes (including hardware provisioning, account setup, etc.) - Assist with meeting room technologies (e.g., video conferencing systems, AV equipment) - Document support activities and maintain knowledge base articles - Collaborate with 2nd/3rd level support and infrastructure teams as needed - Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards - Participate in hardware lifecycle activities (e.g., imaging, upgrades, decommissioning) Requirements: - Completed IT apprenticeship, technical diploma, or equivalent experience - Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory - Understanding of IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals) - Strong customer service and communication skills - Proficiency in English (spoken and written) - Swiss/EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit - Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) - Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or other device management tools - German and English language skills, must have This is a great opportunity for a motivated junior IT professional to start or grow their career in a dynamic, international environment at our client n Basel.
