An insight to the role
In this role, you will design, develop, and test hardware for Datamars products, from planning to roll‑out. The role will collaborate across R&D and production teams to enhance product quality, support change requests, and integrate the latest technologies.
Design and develop analog and digital hardware, including schematics and PCB layouts for RFID and smart devices.
Integrate PCBA with mechanical design and support prototype debugging and pre‑series testing.
Develop and maintain test systems and support product industrialization and production processes.
Manage change requests, second sourcing, and product customization for existing designs.
Provide technical support for supply chain, production, and field returns analysis.
Ensure compliance with quality processes, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Research and propose innovative solutions, staying up to date with state‑of‑the‑art technologies.
Occasional travel to our production sites may be required.
Key success factors
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Previous experience in a similar role and proven experience in analog and digital electronic design. We welcome applications from experienced engineers at different career stages from Mid to Senior level.
Familiarity with ARM‑based MCUs and experience in firmware/software programming is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team, including cross‑functional teamwork. Problem‑solving and analytical thinking combined with attention to detail.
Proficient in English and Italian; other language(s) knowledge are a plus.
