Process Engineer - Carbon Capture and Utilization
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Developing innovative solutions for carbon capture and utilization, including evaluating and developing promising concepts and technologies.
* Participating in the full process design, from early project stages to position CO2 capture technologies and solutions, ensuring safe, optimized, and cost-effective results.
* Proposing optimized process interfaces with existing facilities, reducing CAPEX/Opex costs and environmental impact.
* Executing process engineering on projects: Issuing flow sheet definition, heat/mass balance, specific consumptions, sizing of all equipment, process narrative, emission predictions, functional analysis, permit requirements etc.
For this role, we are seeking individuals with a bachelor's or master's degree in chemical process engineering or a related field, preferably with experience in carbon capture projects. Strong technical leadership skills, manufacturing background, and open-mindedness for innovation and change are required. The ability to interact with different levels in the organization and communicate effectively is essential.
The ideal candidate will have strong listening, communication, and negotiation skills, be result-oriented, and have the ability to work in an international and dynamic environment. Fluency in English is necessary, and other languages are a plus.
