Responsibilities
Sales and Profit: Infuse your passion for Claire's products into achieving retail store targets, fostering growth, and spreading the joy of self-expression; implement strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
Memorable Shopping Experiences: Create positive, inclusive customer interactions that help shoppers reflect their unique personality and celebrate who they are.
Piercing Excellence: Train as a piercing expert and guide customers through piercings, aftercare education, maintaining a sterile environment, and addressing questions and concerns.
Store Operations: Oversee inventory, cash handling, visual merchandising, and promotional activities to reflect the brand’s fun and joy.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop the store team; foster collaboration, motivation, and accountability to achieve results.
Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products with enthusiasm, keep the store well-merchandised, and maximize sales opportunities.
About You
Sales-Driven Mindset: You thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets and maximizing opportunities.
Customer-Centric Approach: You’re passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
Strong Communication & Selling Skills: You can engage customers, build relationships, and close sales.
Ability to Work Independently: You’re self-motivated, organized, and able to take charge when needed.
Job Requirements
You can conduct piercings with patience and empathy, including with young or anxious customers.
Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of retail management experience.
Ability to stand for scheduled shifts and lift 11-35 kg (25-75 lbs).
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and place merchandise while assisting customers.
Passionate about helping customers express themselves daily.
Energetic, customer-focused service orientation and alignment with Claire's values: teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customers, staff, and management.
Solid math skills for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling.
Positive, self-motivated team leadership with a willingness to learn.
Ability to work alone at times in some store locations.
A passion for fashion and staying current with trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Ability to create a curated fashion look with product during shifts.
