Quality Controller in Watchmaking Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our team at a prestigious watchmaking manufacturer based in the Canton of Geneva.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough inspections of watch components, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and dimensional standards. This involves using precision measurement tools to verify that each component meets the required specifications.
In addition to inspecting individual components, you will also perform functional checks on assembled movements to identify any defects or areas for improvement. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to detect cases of non-compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of experience in quality control, preferably within the watchmaking sector
* An excellent understanding of conventional control methods and ability to interpret technical drawings
* Mastery of fine motor skills through hands-on training or prior experience in handling delicate equipment
