SAP Procure to Pay Resource (AP / MM) — Bart & Associates, Inc. (B&A) is seeking a skilled SAP P2P Functional Consultant to support a federal government contract. The role focuses on Accounts Payable (AP) and Materials Management (MM) modules, with responsibilities spanning design, implementation, and optimization of P2P processes and ensuring seamless integration across procurement, invoice processing, and payment cycles.
Job Summary
B&A is looking for an SAP Procure to Pay Resource to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and experience with AP and MM, and will contribute to the end-to-end P2P lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support SAP P2P initiatives with focus on AP and MM modules.
* Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
* Configure SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management) and FI (Accounts Payable) to support business processes.
* Design and implement solutions for procurement cycles, vendor master management, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and payment processing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, and IT to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to P2P processes in a timely manner.
* Support data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), training, and cutover activities.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and SOX requirements.
* Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
* Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP P2P processes.
Education And Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with hands-on MM and FI (AP) experience.

Desired Skills
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA (especially Fiori apps and streamlined P2P processes).
* Familiarity with SAP Ariba, VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), or third-party procurement tools.
* Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
* SAP Certification in MM or FI modules.
* Understanding of tax configuration, GR/IR clearing, and vendor payment terms.
Security Clearance
* Eligible to obtain a Public Trust.
