Central Europe IT Delivery Manager 80 - 100% (f/m/d)
As Regional IT Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for Central Europe, you are responsible for building and providing specific IT solutions and services that interface with the business. You will consult with the Region and Site BU leads, business application owners, and IT stakeholders on IT-related topics.
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring all IT infrastructure and applications are delivered to the site, as well as managing Ticket Management and Escalations. The Regional IT SDM is the key point of escalation and is accountable for local business relationship management for IT service performance. You will aggregate demand for new and improved IT services required by the business and ensure overall business satisfaction with IT services.
In addition, you will lead regional IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that service delivery processes and procedures are followed to meet the organization’s objectives.
How you'll make an impact
Provide the interface to the business, consulting with the local BU leads, IT stakeholders, and application owners within the business on IT-related topics. This position is a stakeholder-facing role and requires managing expectations within the business.
Lead a multi-country team of IT specialists, providing appropriate and efficient IT solutions and services to defined sites.
Manage hosted IT resources and support global IT projects in respect of Hub implementation.
Accountable for developing and managing an organizational entity for delivering IT services, solutions, and activities in the region, including end-to-end IT service delivery, onsite services, and IT/OT cybersecurity operational management at sites.
Aggregate demands for new and improved IT infrastructure services required by the business and ensure overall business satisfaction with existing infrastructure services.
Accountable for the assigned country scope, ensuring delivery of business processes and projects supporting IT systems/projects is aligned with business and functional needs, resulting in improved efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and operational functionality.
Prioritize tasks and responsibilities to manage global, regional, and local requirements and escalations seamlessly in accordance with global targets and strategy.
Responsible for compliance of IT services with local law, local license compliance, local IT controls compliance, and for the respective regional IT budget.
Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies for the benefit of both company and employee.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, and 15+ years of experience in Information Systems.
5+ years of prior experience in IT, with 2+ years in an IT management role.
Fluent English communication skills and good local language skills of the major country of responsibility.
2 years of experience in project management of complex global projects.
Experience in process management, business process improvement, business process management, or value stream mapping.
Experience with manufacturing operations methods, process, and change management is an advantage.
Experience in complex stakeholder scenarios, cross‑functional problem solving, and advanced understanding of IT procedures and policies, together with end-to-end business processes knowledge.
Flexibility to manage multiple shifts of IT resources in a factory environment.
