The HR Onboarding & Offboarding Specialist will facilitate new staff integration into our environment. Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding activities, preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and creating personalized onboarding plans. You should enjoy planning and be a people person.
Specific Responsibilities
Role:
Building culture and engaging staff before their arrival
Developing clear onboarding and offboarding processes
Participating in policy development for onboarding/offboarding
Providing HR policy guidance and training
Enhancing HR practices and systems based on feedback
Responsibilities:
Coordinate onboarding activities, including orientations and social events
Create buddy schedules for the academic year
Prepare onboarding paperwork and personalized plans
Assist with documentation and serve as main contact for new hires
Collaborate with departments to ensure proper onboarding
Develop onboarding policies and employee handbooks
Send informational emails and prepare onboarding kits
Welcome new employees and introduce them to the team
Handle paperwork and technical setup assistance
Address queries regarding contracts and payroll
Support offboarding processes, including housing and immigration considerations
The successful candidate will have:
Experience as an HR Generalist or similar in education management, knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and customer service skills.
