We are looking for a highly motivated Business Application Owner to join our Client, Products and Sales ("CPS") Platform Management team. Platform Management is responsible for developing, implementing, and operating business technology solutions that support LGT Capital Partners' core functions. Our team comprises experienced technology and operations experts focused on ensuring technology delivery aligns with business objectives.
The CPS platform supports our business development, product solutions, and client servicing teams with innovative technology solutions. As a Business Application Owner, you will lead the operation and enhancement of our client and product master data management ("MDM") application, improving efficiency, ensuring seamless processes, and continuously refining the system landscape. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and owning the MDM application from a business perspective, acting as the primary contact for stakeholders and the IT application management team to maximize value;
Defining and managing the MDM application roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, and supporting project analysis and design;
Assessing and analyzing business needs, problems, and opportunities; providing expert advice, developing recommendations, and implementation plans;
Facilitating collaboration sessions to gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and assist with solution implementation and change management;
Reviewing and approving new requirements, analyzing impacts, and collaborating with business analysts and IT teams on technical solution design;
Coordinating testing and change management, preparing training materials;
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of solutions, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices;
Ensuring compliance with regulations and security policies, and harmonizing application functionality.
Requirements At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years as a business or product owner at the interface between business and technology;
Proven knowledge of data quality management, data governance, and MDM strategies;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business and technical processes quickly;
Genuine interest in alternative investment products, with experience in Private Markets preferred;
Structured approach to project and workload management, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining high integrity and professionalism;
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across organizational levels.
