SAP Service Delivery Manager
We are seeking an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager for our MSC Geneva facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Based in the SAP Department’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) at MSC headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, this permanent role involves delivering SAP and Finance IT Services for MSC and its subsidiaries worldwide.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with business knowledge and SAP solution expertise, primarily in the Finance & Controlling domain, including integration with modules such as MM, SD, FSCM, Master Data, Roles and Authorizations. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly valued.
The SAP Service Delivery Manager will report to the SAP Head of the Competence Center.
Responsibilities
1. Serve as the primary link between the Business Transformation Team (Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, etc.) and SAP CCoE.
2. Build strong relationships with the Business to align the SAP roadmap with company strategy.
3. Manage planning, budgeting, and annual objectives for the division.
4. Allocate resources from SAP CCoE to division projects and AMS, coordinating with other SDMs and the SAP Group CCoE Head. Oversee four teams based in Geneva, Lisbon, Naples, and Chennai, ensuring continuous delivery and escalation management.
5. Monitor SLAs and implement improvements in service management.
6. Implement best practices in support and project delivery.
7. Manage stakeholders and vendors effectively.
8. Collaborate with SAP leaders and business architects to promote seamless integration across teams.
9. Ensure delivery quality, focusing on audits and customer satisfaction improvements.
10. Manage SAP licensing, audits, and related costs.
11. Drive organizational change and support business transition initiatives.
12. Support SAP project methodologies from requirements to deployment, including testing, training, and documentation.
13. Negotiate statements of work, plan programs, and manage financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
1. At least 20 years of experience in SAP projects, including implementation, rollout, and support; S/4HANA experience preferred.
2. Motivation for Business Process Improvement using SAP Solution Manager, with skills in analytics, monitoring, and dashboards; SIGNAVIO experience is a plus.
3. Additional expertise in FI, CO, SD, MM, FSCM (TRM, IHC, DM, CLM), roles & authorizations, interfaces, and workflows is advantageous.
4. Excellent knowledge of ITSM/ITIL principles or equivalent certifications.
5. University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or IT.
6. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, work independently, and learn quickly.
7. Leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills for a multicultural environment.
8. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to prioritize, deliver solutions promptly, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
10. Enthusiasm for technology and new initiatives.
11. Excellent English communication skills; Italian is a plus.
