We’re looking for a hands‑on, proactive Facility Manager to support our team and ensure our City Pop buildings run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
As Facility Manager, you will actively support the team in the operational and technical management of City Pop buildings in Geneva and Lausanne.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for on‑site technicians, providing guidance, prioritizing interventions, and supporting decision‑making in daily operations.
* Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective works on technical installations such as HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, electronic access systems, and IT‑related equipment.
* Assessing technical issues, preparing clear reports when required, and deciding whether interventions can be handled internally or require external service providers.
* Coordinating external companies, requesting and validating quotations, supervising works on site, and ensuring quality, timelines, and safety standards are respected.
* Supporting the management of maintenance budgets, monitoring costs, and ensuring all interventions are approved and aligned with financial guidelines.
* Organizing and supporting regular inspections of buildings and apartments, identifying risks or improvement areas, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements.
* Collaborating closely with the Operations team to support check‑in/check‑out processes and continuously improve residents’ experience.
* Assisting with the setup and management of maintenance contracts for new and existing buildings, including handovers and technical documentation.
* Participating in the opening of new buildings, supporting technical handovers, equipment installation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical processes, workflows, and communication between technicians, operations, and third‑party partners.
Your Profile:
* Strong technical knowledge of building installations & troubleshooting
* Solid understanding of requirements & safety checks
* Organized, solution‑oriented, and stress‑resistant
* Confident communicator with a managerial mindset
* Fluent French & English (Italian is a plus)
* Team player, autonomous, reliable, and proactive
