As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for a new colleague to join us in the role of
Senior Electronics Engineer 100%
at our Swiss headquarter in Dietikon (Zurich). In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in optical engineering to the development of innovative opto-mechatronic systems, making a significant impact on the future of diagnostics and life sciences.
What you can expect:
* Development of sophisticated electronics for "smart optical modules" from prototype to series production
* Circuit design and simulation using modern development tools
* Programming of associated embedded software
* Designing suitable test environments for the qualification and production of modules or systems
* Close cooperation in an interdisciplinary and international development team, development partners, PCB manufacturers and customers
* Support in the further development of laboratory equipment and development processes as well as in the estimation of product and development costs
* Review and expert advice on electronic designs from other project teams
Your profile:
* Completed engineering degree (BSc, MSc) in the field of electronics, electrical engineering
* Several years of experience in the development of complex embedded electronics
* Very good knowledge of analog and digital circuit development and layout, preferably with the Altium tool
* Knowledge of simulating and testing electronic circuits
* Several years of experience in the development of embedded software for ARM-based microcontrollers in C/C++
* Know-how in architecture and design of HW and embedded/real-time SW
* Experience in the development of regulatory medical or IVD products is a plus
* Fluent in both spoken and written English and German
* High level of quality awareness, personal responsibility and motivation
* Experience in optoelectronics, photonics or related fields of optical sensor technology is desirable
