We are seeking an experienced IT Controller to oversee our IT budget, license management, and financial processes. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring financial transparency, optimizing license usage, and supporting IT investments. Your responsibilities:
* Oversee the full financial lifecycle, from budget creation to financial statements.
* Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Maintain a comprehensive global IT spending framework for consistency and visibility.
* Support the Group IT management team in all financial matters.
* Support the division management in preparing Group IT's budget and financial presentations to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
* Lead IT budget planning and monitoring with the IT Management team.
* Conduct regular budget reviews with cost center managers to identify risks and savings opportunities.
* Report accruals for quarterly, half-year, and annual financial statements.
* Oversee license contracts, ensuring timely renewals and optimizing usage.
* Manage vendor contracts and maintain the contract management tool.
* Calculate IT service costs and maintain the service catalog.
IT Investments and invoice handling:
* Assist in the preparation and evaluation of CAPEX and investment requests.
* Control and analyze CAPEX expenditures, ensuring alignment with strategic IT initiatives and overall budget targets.
* License management: Oversee license contracts, ensuring timely renewals and monitoring notice periods.
* Monitor license usage and optimization.
Process Improvement:
* Identify and implement process improvements in IT financial management.
* Support digital transformation by integrating financial controls with new IT systems.
Your profile:
* Proven expertise in financial controlling with a strong understanding of IT financial processes.
* Experience in IT within larger SMEs, ideally with a focus on IT controlling and/or license management.
* Deep knowledge of license management, including contract negotiation and compliance.
* Excellent proficiency in Excel; advanced skills in PowerPoint and familiarity with data visualization tools.
* Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of IFS is an advantage).
* Relevant certifications in Controlling are an asset.
* Strategic thinking, adaptability and attention to detail.
* High integrity with a reputation for confidentiality and a cool head under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
* Fluent in English and German.
