Could you be the full-time Sales Engineer Services (f/m/d) in Zurich we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich site serves as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximize the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to Alessandro Sigrist, Head of Services Tenders & Business Development, and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to:
* Identify and cultivate sales opportunities within our extensive Services Portfolio, which includes Modernizations, Innovations, Maintenance, Spare Parts, and Repairs
* Promote our internally developed second source solutions such as brake discs/pads, dampers, traction solutions, etc.
* Increase the Parts & Overhaul business together with our Competence Service Centers in Europe
* Manage the Swiss market intelligence database in Salesforce and create visibility on upcoming Business Opportunities
* Drive business opportunities in the Business Development & Pre-tendering stage and set a compelling tender strategy
* Understand customer problems and claims, solve them, and pave the road for future business
* Engage in industry networking and communication as an ambassador of our local Service activities

* A technical / engineering background will help you understand customer needs
* Relevant experience in Sales & Business Development to propose appropriate solutions
* Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in French is an advantage
* Strong creativity, customer-orientation, and agility
* Confident, extroverted, communicative, and persistent
* Open to travel up to 50%, mainly within Switzerland
