Pbr/bWhat it's about /b /p pPartners Group has been a leading innovator of client solutions for the Private Wealth segment. In this segment, Partners Group caters via wholesale/distribution sales channels to private wealth clients. The firm has been a pioneer of private markets programs with evergreen solutions since 2001, and ELTIFs since 2016 and has established long-term relationships with distribution partners across Europe, Asia and the US. With more than USD 52 billion in assets under management today, Partners Group Private Wealth offers a wide range of vehicles that enable private investors to access private markets returns. The solutions the firm manages for Private Wealth clients and counterparties range from evergreens, traditional closed-ended funds where clients benefit from predefined liquidity windows as well as customized mandate solutions. /p pbIn this position, /b you will be part of the European Client Solutions team with a focus on Private Wealth in the Nordic region. The position will be initially based in Partners Group’s headquarters in Zug with the intention to re-locate to Stockholm following a successful ramp-up phase. As a private wealth business development professional, you will be responsible for building new and broadening existing distribution channels in the Nordics. You will closely collaborate with the colleagues covering institutional clients in the Nordics to build cross-selling opportunities. /p pbYour key responsibilities will include: /b /p liDeveloping and managing distribution initiatives with new and existing private wealth partners, including building and converting pipeline, client contract negotiations and onboarding with the ability to work cross departmental, in particular with Marketing, Portfolio Solutions and Structuring teams /li liBeing responsible for roll-out plans and education sessions of our distribution partners; managing aftersales activities /li liUnderstanding the value proposition of Partners Group's full range of solutions from evergreen solutions to traditional closed-ended funds, including operational and regulatory features (ELTIF, SICAV, etc.) /li liBecoming an expert in private markets and Partners Group’s platform, fund solutions and investment strategies across asset classes /li liPreparing persuasive, and high-quality marketing presentations and responses to client requests, assisting with queries, and performance updates /li p .newspaper { h1 { font-size: 250%; font-family: Lato; } h2 { font-size: 200%; } p { font-size: 100%; } /p bWhat we expect /bbr/ pThe successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the private wealth (wholesale) industry, and 5-8 years of experience in working for an asset manager with a private markets focus. For this position, we are looking for someone who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization and someone who possesses strong networking organizational skills. /p pbThe successful candidate should have the following profile: /b /p liStrong academic background in finance, economics or a relevant discipline (MBA, Master's and/or CFA preferred) /li li5-15 years of relevant work experience in business development, sales marketing and/or relationship management (preferably in the private markets industry) /li liPrevious experience with fund selection, wholesale or institutional sales departments in asset management, wealth management, or multi-family offices; has an established network across financial institutions and a proven ability to convert projects in the Nordics /li liDemonstrated success in managing client relationships and identifying/converting new clients with a track record of fundraising success /li liFamiliarity with private markets solutions (from evergreen solutions to closed-ended funds) /li liProficiency in Business English (both written and verbal) as well as written and verbal proficiency in preferably Swedish /li liExcellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a polished, professional manner /li liAttention to detail, extremely organized, and commitment to excellence.
