Overview
Are you a Marketing guru, interested in a position where you can make an impact? As our Creative Services & Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Sales and take the lead on MIEC’s marketing and brand efforts while working closely with our team every day. You’ll guide multi-channel marketing projects from start to finish, bringing creative ideas to life. This role will give you a great opportunity to apply your understanding of both traditional and digital marketing strategies, and a forum to apply them within MIEC’s unique environment.
LOCATION: This position can be remote, hybrid, or in-office at one of our MIEC offices located in California, Idaho, or Alaska. This position requires limited travel from time to time, including overnight stays.
Compensation will be salary-based on experience and location.

What You’ll Do
* Work closely with others to develop and share creative marketing ideas, offer guidance on branding strategies, and put marketing plans into action. Help guide the company’s brand presence in the MPL market segment, ensuring it shines through in all products, promotional materials, and events. Also monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make improvements as needed.
* Lead and support the company’s creative efforts by working with internal teams and outside partners, ensuring our digital marketing assets and content library are well organized and effective.
* Collaborate to create, share, and publish engaging content, ensuring our social media and company website offer a smooth, positive experience for policyholders. Draft clear, helpful communications for policyholders to ensure they feel informed and supported.
* Help develop, implement, manage, and track department/advertising budgets. Monitor branding and marketing campaign performance to measure impact and value.
* Collaborate with teammates at every level to ensure projects are completed from start to finish.
Requirements

* An excellent communicator, written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling visual presentations.
Education
* Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field.
Experience
The ideal candidate will join with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
* Creative/marketing operations with a corporation, nonprofit, or public relations firm.
* Medical malpractice insurance industry experience.
* Leading a creative team and managing marketing staff.
* Building out and implementing brand strategy and marketing plans and strategic marketing/brand positioning.
* Defining, calibrating, and adjusting marketing-based metrics to demonstrate ROI.
* Marketing/printed collateral production, interfacing with vendors and advertising partners (printing, direct mail, email, etc.).
In addition, the candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in:
* Planning, developing, executing and managing user experience and/or digital marketing campaigns (paid search, SEO, demand generation, prospecting, social media marketing, content creation).
Additional Experience
* Project management with strong planning and organizational skills, a methodical, structured approach, and the ability to execute autonomously to a timeline with urgency.
* General MPL/insurance marketing strategies and regulations.
Digital Skillsets
Our ideal candidate is digitally fluent, comfortable in a range of virtual environments, and skilled with creative, marketing, and office software.
* Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
* Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
* Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc.
* Experience with social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, BlueSky, TikTok) and their advertising platforms.
* Knowledge of AI marketing best practices and modern SEO techniques.
